Questions about International

Dating across countries, briefly

International lets you widen the geography of getting acquainted while keeping the same Baxtlilar principles: choice, mutual interest, privacy and your own decision.

Below are answers to the main questions about using International.

No. You can use Baxtlilar and consider introductions only within the geography you have chosen.

International is an extra option for those open to meeting people from other countries.

International is switched on only by your decision.

Yes, where the current version of International provides for it. You can define the geography you are genuinely open to:

  • your own country
  • selected countries
  • a wider international geography

Choosing a country does not guarantee that suitable recommendations will appear from there.

Geography sets the frame for recommendations; it does not create a catalogue of people.

No. International does not open a separate catalogue of users by country.

Recommendations depend on:

  • your questionnaire and criteria
  • the other user's settings
  • the geography both sides are open to
  • visibility settings
  • the other Baxtlilar matching rules

Choosing a country gives no automatic access to people from it.

It can be one of the parameters where geography matters for a particular pair. But a country on its own does not make compatibility high or low.

Baxtlilar weighs the questionnaire, family plans, values, preferences and the other parameters provided for.

Compatibility is a hint, not a forecast of a relationship.

Not necessarily. Internal recommendation settings do not automatically become a public part of your profile.

Another user sees only the information provided for by the profile and the privacy settings: your country of residence, for instance — but not necessarily the full list of countries you are open to.

International settings and public profile information are different things.

Yes. Your plans can change, so the International settings can be revisited.

Later you can, for example:

  • add a new country
  • narrow the geography
  • pause international recommendations

Geography settings are never fixed for good.

Yes. If you no longer want international recommendations, International can be switched off or the chosen geography changed.

Switching off applies to new international recommendations. How it affects introductions already under way is explained separately in the interface.

International can be switched off with no hidden changes to your settings.

No. Turning International on creates no obligation for the other side.

International does not guarantee:

  • a meeting
  • a trip
  • the other user travelling to you
  • relocation
  • the conversation continuing
  • a relationship
  • starting a family

Meeting in person is possible only when both users are ready for it themselves.

A meeting is a decision of two people, not a result of turning International on.

No. Baxtlilar is a platform for getting acquainted, not a service for handling paperwork.

International is not:

  • a visa agency
  • an immigration service
  • legal advice
  • an employment service
  • a relocation programme

If separate partner services appear in the future, they will be marked as services in their own right.

International helps you meet people, not arrange a move.

The availability of International is defined by the current Baxtlilar terms.

Information about access and any limits is shown in the pricing section and inside the Mini App.

No. International does not change the basic Baxtlilar rules.

The service does not allow anyone to:

  • write before the stage provided for
  • work around a decline
  • obtain contacts automatically
  • see documents
  • obtain a precise location
  • demand that things continue

Distance does not change another user's rights.

You can:

  • stop the conversation
  • not share your contacts
  • block the user
  • send a report
  • contact support
  • open the Safety Centre recommendations

Mutual interest creates no obligation to keep getting acquainted.

Is International access to people from other countries?

No. International is a setting for geography and the international context of recommendations inside Baxtlilar.

Geography widens the context of getting acquainted — not the rights over another person.

Choosing a country does not mean:

  • access to every user from that country
  • a right to obtain their contacts
  • priority over other users
  • a guarantee of mutual interest
